Lucy Duran introduced Senegalese singer Carlou D with a specially recorded session at the BBC Radio 3 studios by musician visiting the UK from Senegal.
Carlou D brings his big-range, soulful voice to a mixture of songs that celebrate Muslim mysticism and warn of the dangers facing his homeland Senegal.
