Daniel Brown introduced Senegalese singer Carlou D with a specially recorded session at the studio 136 at RFI in Paris.
Carlou D reveal what has inspired his rich and melancholic music. a style Carlou calls “muzhikr”. This combines the word “music” with “zhikr”, an Arabic and Wolof word meaning “spirituality”.
